Theo & Maddie have never quite gotten along, despite their constant contact through their mutual best friend, Alexa. When Alexa gets engaged, she asks them both to be in her bridal party, forcing them together more than ever. Suddenly, it doesn't feel forced for Theo & Maddie to be together and they find themselves in a sexy fling that they vow to end before Alexa's wedding and keep a secret. When their feelings start to get in the way of their agreement, things get messy and there's no telling whether this pair will make it.

Okay, when I opened this third book of Jasmine Guillory's I found myself feeling like I was reading the same story as the other two books in this pseudo-series. It's very formulaic, just like the Abby Jimenez "friend zone" series. So, I did find myself skimming through and not feeling quite as invested in this story. However, I appreciate how each of Guillory's characters brings awareness to a certain social issue and offers a sense of diversity in the contemporary romance realm. Maddie was a strong female lead and I knew she would be when I met her in the previous two books. I appreciated how her atypical career was empowered in this novel.

Overall, I will recommend this book, but maybe take a break in-between reading this series so it doesn't feel too repetitive!
