A new week means more Greensburg events! As always, there's something for everyone – couples, kids, families, friends. Browse the list below and get to planning!

Monday, May 1

Munchkins, Music and Me!

This class is focused on getting little ones ages 6 months to 4 years exposed to music. Babies and children are drawn to music and listening to music sung by their caregivers strengthens the bond between the child and adult. Music also helps children recognize sounds and rhythm in words. Class runs four weeks until May 22. Cost is $80 for all four weeks (with a nonrefundable $40 deposit). The first class starts at 5:15 a.m. Learn more.

Open Mic Monday

IronRock is excited to announce its weekly Open Mic Nights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. You must be 21 or older to take part. There is a 15 minute limit per performance. Text 412-715-1727 to sign up. Learn more.

Tuesday, May 2

Beerasana with El Diablo Brewing 

Get ready for Cinco de Mayo! Enjoy an hour flow and beer sampling starting at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $30 and includes two pints of beer (after your tasting, giveaways and snacks. Reserve your spot here. Learn more.

Oil Painting with Jackie Moreno 

Explore techniques with an emphasis on Grisaille at the Greensburg Art Center. The classes take place every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m from March 14 to May 2. There are three different class options: March 14 to April 4 for $60, March 14 to April 18 for $80 or March 14 to May 2 for $95. Register online or by calling 724-837-6791. Learn more.

LOSS Support Group 

For those who have lost a loved one to suicide, join Mental Health America of Southwestern PA starting at 6:30 p.m. Please note: These groups are not intended to replace therapy but to provide added support. Learn more.

Qigong Energy Flow for Spring

Wednesday Night Painters

This open studio at the Greensburg Art Center is perfect for experienced artists as well as beginner painters – all are welcome. Bring your favorite medium to paint the weekly theme or your own. Clay Class - Beginner Wheel Throwing

Beginners will be introduced to wheel throwing and hand building. Learn techniques such as wedging, making a cylinder and attaching handles. Additional techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, slab techniques and more will be explored. This class is designed for those with no prior experience or as a refresher. Where to Being - Art Fundamentals with Marcy Koynok

Join Sports & Social for a night of fun starting at 6 p.m. The second floor will be transformed into the best fiesta with an all-you-can-eat taco buffet, drink specials and a chance to take a swing at the pinata to win some fun prizes. Learn more.

The Sawtooth Grin, Meth, Ancient Torture & Sarlacc @ Green Beacon Gallery

Opening Day at Historic Hanna's Town

Enjoy visiting a Revolutionary War-era historic site, that features several reconstructed and renovated log buildings, as well as a walking path. There will be history displays and military demonstrations by the I.B.W.C.P. group, and blacksmithing with Rex Baughman. Garden and naturalist talks by the Penn State Master Gardeners will take place at our Kitchen and Dyer's Gardens. Children are welcome to enjoy 18th-century toys and games throughout the day. Native Peoples Celebration

Join The Westmoreland for an American Indian Drum and Dance Performance. Members of the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center in Pittsburgh will share creative cultural expressions through music and dance.
