The Friendship Edit: October Finds

“Never Wait to Be Invited” Grateful to Molly Knuth of The Found Podcast for inviting me to have a hard conversation about friendship with her. I say “hard” because we address some points people need to hear. #1. Not everyone will want to be your friend. #2. You also don’t have time to be everyone’s friend. Molly released several episodes about friendship over the past month.
“Friendship in Age of Social Media” I had a blast talking to Shane and Jenna, the mother/daughter duo who host of The Social Dialogue Podcast. We had an excellent discussion about moving to a new city, the friend who makes most of the effort, and whether there’s truly “always room for one more.”

READING: I’m currently listening to Are You Mad at Me?by Meg Josephson and reading both an early release of Joyride by Susan Orlean and Go Gentle by Maria Semple.
TV: I’m keeping up on The Morning Show week to week. I devoured The Diplomat season 3. I finished season 2 of Nobody Wants This. The stereotypes are hard to take, but I did breeze through the whole season. I’m also watching Your Friends and Neighbors.
COOKING: We’ve been eating the dilly chicken soup from Adeena Sussman’s book Shabbat. Here’s a version on Instagram.
