When author Alexandra Lane contacted me inquiring about a possible review of her book DONUM: The Prophecy Has Begun, I provided her with the necessary steps to submit her inquiry. I read the synopsis and saw the cover, and honestly, I was a bit hesitant to move forward with excepting her book to review.
I wasn't expecting such an engaging and compelling read. Based on the synopsis, there was a lot to process, and when I saw the number of pages, I immediately felt a bit intimated. But I'm glad I conquered my fear. I thoroughly enjoyed this work of fiction filled with non-stop action, strong characters, and a gripping plot.
DONUM: The Prophecy Has Begun explores the tale of Charles Leonardis Jr., better known as Teal, because of his eye color and his effort to rid his hometown of an evil presence known as Noigel Braddock. Lane's DONUM: The Prophecy Has Begun is a classic tale of good versus evil and delves into biblical factors that aid in not only Teal's ability to face Noigel but also highlights the importance of family, faith, and togetherness.
There were some grammatical errors and times when the ink faded out on the pages, causing difficulty in understanding the words on the page. But overall, Lane did a fantastic job incorporating a story filled with love, faith, family, friends, truth, and excitement. I suggest purchasing this book if you're looking for a work of fiction that will keep you on the edge of your seat! DONUM: The Prophecy Has Begun is available everywhere books are sold.
