Ben Stephens is the player type, until he meets Anna Gardiner. The thing about Anna is, she's a famous actress that Ben's firm hired for a commercial shoot. As they spend time together, their working relationship quickly becomes more and suddenly Ben is opening up to Anna in ways he never has and visa versa. When Anna's manager finds out, he proposes they take their relationship public so Anna gets some good publicity to hopefully help her land her dream role. As they pretend to not be in be in a real relationship, a real relationship forms. But, are they ready to take on the true spotlight that is being in love?

I want to preface this by saying I don't think Jasmine Guillory can write a bad book. Her characters are vivid, the story lines are fun and the romance is always top-notch steamy. I was enthralled in this story as I have been with all her books, but this one simply felt...loose. It felt like a half-way tied shoe lace. The plot lines simply didn't come together or flow as perfectly as they have in her other novels. *spoiler ahead* As an example, at the beginning of the novel, Ben gets an email from a long-lost sister who found him via a DNA test. That sister is a total afterthought throughout the entire novel and we never even meet her! Clearly, Ben needed an "issue" but this just did not feel genuine or necessary. I was enthralled in the story without it! Apart from that this was another fun, sexy, and romantic read from Jasmine Guillory that just might make me believe in love again.

Overall, I do recommend this book!
